These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to FastList at https://fastlist.me (the “Service”). By creating a shop, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Questions: info@fastlist.me.
This is a practical summary for launching FastList and is not a substitute for legal advice. Governing law is intended to be the laws of England and Wales.
1. What FastList is
FastList provides tools to create a temporary or short-term storefront, list products, and accept payments via third-party providers (currently Stripe and/or PayPal). FastList is a platform: unless we expressly say otherwise, we are not the seller of goods on storefronts, do not hold buyer funds for product sales, and do not guarantee item quality, delivery, or buyer–seller communications.
2. Accounts
- You must provide an accurate email and keep your account secure.
- Sign-in uses passwordless email magic links. You are responsible for access to that email inbox.
- You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding contract.
- One person or business should not create accounts to evade suspensions or fees.
3. Seller responsibilities
- You are responsible for your shop content, pricing, stock, fulfilment, returns, and customer service.
- Items must be legal to sell in your jurisdiction and the buyer’s, and must not violate payment-provider rules.
- Product photos and descriptions must not infringe others’ rights or be misleading.
- Connecting Stripe or PayPal means you also accept those providers’ terms. Payouts and disputes for product sales are handled under their systems.
- You must comply with consumer law that applies to your sales (including distance selling and cancellation rules where relevant).
4. Listing plans & fees
Storefront visibility and listing duration may require a listing plan (including a free short trial when offered). Paid plans and extensions are charged via Stripe as described on the pricing page. Fees are generally non-refundable once a listing period has started, except where required by law or where we cancel the Service for reasons in our control. Plan prices may change; existing active periods are honoured until they expire.
5. Buyers
When you buy from a FastList-powered storefront, your contract for the goods is with the seller, not FastList. Payment is processed by the seller’s connected Stripe or PayPal account. Contact the seller first for order issues; FastList may help with platform technical problems but is not the retailer.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Sell prohibited, stolen, counterfeit, or dangerous goods
- Abuse, scrape, or disrupt the Service or other users
- Misrepresent affiliation with FastList
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorised access
- Use the Service for fraud, money laundering, or spam
We may remove content, suspend shops, or terminate accounts for breach or risk to the platform or users.
7. Intellectual property
FastList branding, software, and site design are ours or our licensors’. You keep ownership of content you upload, and you grant us a licence to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate storefronts and directories.
8. Availability & changes
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Features may change. We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version; continued use after material changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FastList is not liable for seller–buyer disputes, product quality, lost profits, or indirect damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the listing fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
